Blessington Farms

Sept. 19 – Nov. 21: Pumpkin Patch & Fall Festival – every Saturday AND Sunday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (weather permitting) – hay rides, giant slides, barrel train rides, pedal cars and hands-on animal encounters with chickens, Baby Doll sheep, goats and MANY more. Want to feed the camels? You can at Blessington! The walk-thru aviary where you can feed a variety of birds is a favorite, as well as the addition of the Gem Mining experience and Fossil Dig. This season….come pick flowers on the farm….our flower patch is growing and is full of beautiful and colorful flowers you can pick and take home. This season we will also be hosting a Farmer’s Market with vegetables grown on our Farm. LOTS and lots of PUMPKINS and TONS of fantastic photo opportunities!

 

Dewberry Farms

Sept. 26 – Nov 15: Fall Festival at Dewberry Farms – Open on Friday through Sundays – Fridays: 10 AM – 6PM, Saturdays: 10 AM – 6PM, Sundays: 11 AM – 6 PM. With heaps of pumpkins, food galore, and 50+ Things to DEW, fun is as big as Texas at Dewberry Farm! Reservations required! Sept. 27 – Oct. 31: Pumpkin Patch 7 Days a week -12 – 7 PM – FREE and fun for the whole family

Oct 17 – 31: Annual Pumpkin Patch – Open Saturdays 12 – 5 PM and Sunday Noon – 5 PM – This year activities will be limited to pony rides, haunted train, stockyard maze, petting zoo, and of course, the PUMPKIN PATCH!

 

St. Peter’s United Methodist Church

Through Oct. 31: Pumpkin Patch – Open 7 days a week – Saturday & Sunday: 9 AM – 6 PM, Weekdays: 1 – 7 PM. Visit the Pumpkin Patch to take pictures of your children amid the pumpkins and purchase the pumpkins for giving, crafting, and decorating.

 

Westlake Prep

Oct. 10 – 31: 1st Annual Westlake Pumpkin Patch – Located at the corner of Bellaire Boulevard and Katy-Gaston Road, the Westlake Prep Pumpkin Patch will open to the public for pumpkin sales beginning on Saturday, October 10 through October 31, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM and Sunday 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Open to the public!

Oct 9-11: 2019 Katy Rice Festival – virtual experience with an online craft market, brand performances, and other fun, family activities.

Oct. 10: HTX Market x No Label Brewing Co. – HTX Market is coming to Katy! Visit the market at No Label Brewing Co for goodies from local businesses and artisans. Each of their events will always have a non-profit partner or cause that we will be highlighting. This is a FREE family and dog-friendly event so come fill your belly, bag, and heart – Eat. Shop. Do Good.

Oct. 24: Halloween Pawty & Chili Cook-Off – 2nd annual Halloween Pawty & Dog costume contest and this time they are adding Chili. Bring your furbabies out in their costumes (contest at 3:30) for a fun afternoon of good fun and great beer. There will be contest prizes, raffles and silent auctions too

Oct. 10 – 24: Richmond’s Historic District Ghost Tours – Saturdays 6 & 7 PM. Experience Richmond at twilight with a walking tour of its historic district. Hear the ghostly tales that have survived the test of time on historic Morton Street and learn about other unexplained events along this one-hour tour!

Oct. 15: Movie Night – Hotel Transylvania – Bring the whole family out for a safe, fun and social distanced Halloween themed movie night on the lawn at Chick-fil-A Morton Ranch! We will be watching the movie Hotel Transylvania starting at sunset (about 7:10pm).

Play Street Museum

Oct. 17: Pumpkin Paint & Play – Grab a spot for Saturday, October 17th from 10:00am-11:30am. In addition to playtime, kiddos will get to paint their own miniature sized piece of pumpkin pottery.

Oct. 24: Fall Sensory Exploration – Fall Sensory Exploration Saturday, October 24th from 9:00-10:30. They’ll have a pumpkin patch, monster and eye spy sensory bins and a fall craft!

Oct. 31: Halloween Party – Saturday, October 31st from 11:30-1:30 for a two hour Halloween Party! In addition to playtime, kiddos can enjoy a pizza lunch and fun Halloween activities.

Oct. 23: Drive Through Trunk or Treat – ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL with a 2020 twist. Things may look a little different, but no reason to not get out, dress up and have some trick or treat fun! Oct. 24: Spooky Ninja Jam – Children, ages 6 to 13 years, can test their skills on a 10-item obstacle course that will include rings, trapezes, ropes, balance beam, rock wall, ledges and the iconic Warped Wall. All ninjas can hit the buzzer at the end of the course – similar to the athletes that complete the course on the television show America Ninja Warrior. It will be Spooktacular!

Oct. 25: Candy Cruise-In – Spooky-safe Halloween fun for the whole family! This drive thru Trick or Treating experience will be filled with decorated stations, two drive thru experiences and lots of candy! They have partnered with some amazing local businesses and non-profits who will be “hosting” and decorating stations!

Oct. 30: Trunk-or-Treat – Join Republic Gymnastics and Dance Center and Go2Party Rentals for this annual Trunk-or-Treat on Friday October 30th from 6:00-9:00PM. Go2Party Rentals is joining this year as a host to help show the wonderful Republic customers their appreciation and support over the years and especially during this time of unknowns. Each year they partner with Cy-Fair Helping Hands to collect Thanksgiving Blessing Box items to help provide CFISD children with a wonderful Thanksgiving meal *FREE ENTRY with Thanksgiving Blessing Box donation items**

Nov. 13-15: Pecan Grove Fall Markets – 3-Day “Pecan Grove Movie Night & Fall Markets”. This will be a family and pet friendly open-air environment that will include local vendors, food trucks, music, kids activities, gifts, beer, wine, and much more. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, they will be taking food can donations all 3 days that will be donated to The 2nd Mile Non-Profit.

Nov. 20- 29: YMCA Turkey Hunt – Turkey Dash Family Scavenger Hunt: The YMCA Katy Family Turkey Hunt challenges you to scavenger hunt for all the cool spots in Katy as a family and make Turkey Dash memories along the way. Together, you’ll not only visit each location but take a selfie with the Turkey to prove you were there!

 

Katy Wine Fest (Virtual)

Nov. 20: 15th Annual Katy Wine Fest – The 15th Annual Katy Wine Fest has gone virtual! Ticketed guests will receive four bottles of wine (1 red, 1 white, 1 sparkling, and 1 buyer’s choice) along with a small plate sampler featuring savory and sweet light bites. A virtual wine tasting will be available online where ticketed guests can view at their leisure. Ticketed guests will also receive the KWF Restaurant Passport, filled with deals and discounts to many Greater Katy area restaurants. Enjoy discounted glasses of wine, BOGO entrees, and complimentary appetizers or desserts at participating restaurant partners. The Katy Wine Fest will feature an online silent auction and a wine pull. The online silent auction will begin Tuesday, November 3 and run through Sunday, November 22. The wine pull will be held during wine pickup. Each wine pull ticket is $25 and bottles are valued from $25-$100.
