Father's Day Gift Ideas | Katy Moms

We do not claim to be DIYers or even very crafty, so coming up with Father’s Day gift ideas is not always a simple task for us. But, over the years, we have given our husbands a few gifts that were big hits! So, we, of course, want to share them with you! If you are out there racking your brain and coming up empty, here are some ideas to get you going!

1. Picture Frame

You can make this gift in various ways, but the frames shown above are the two that Audrey has made for her husband on two different Father’s Days and they hang in his office to this day. You can run to a craft store and buy wooden letters (which may or may not need to be painted), or make an ‘I Heart Daddy’ sign and have your child hold that. Super easy! *And, if you have multiple children, you could have each of them hold a sign or a letter and have a separate picture for each kid! So many fun ways to do this easy gift and its definitely a keeper for Dad!

2. Grillin’ & Chillin’ Sign

You could get all DIY and make this sign with wood, hooks, and some paint, OR do as we did and order it off Etsy. There are actually a lot of shops that sell similar items, but here the link to the sign shown above. *Add a special touch, by putting your child’s hand print in the bottom corner with the date!

3. Cooler

Men love their coolers and, let’s face it, they want them in all sizes – the big a** cooler, the 6 pack cooler, and every size in between. And they are a gift that last a long time and are useful! Yeti coolers are a go to for sure, BUT if you’re looking for something with a lower price point, Audrey bought her husband this Coleman cooler a few Father’s Days back and her husband has been very happy with it!

4. Deep Sea Fishing Trip (Galveston)

We have both gifted this for our husbands, and we think gifting an experience is always a winner! There are a lot of options out of Galveston for fishing trips, so if your husband is a fisher, this is a great gift! *Get together with your mama friends and go in together on a group fishing trip for all the Daddy’s in your lives!

5. Adidas Ultra Boost

According to our husbands, these are the best tennis shoes out there! There are tons of colors and options (caged and uncaged… you’ll see what I mean…), and Audrey even wears boosts to run and they are the best, y’all. Your shoe loving Daddy will love this gift! Check them out here

6. Dad Established Shirt

A fun, casual and customizable shirt! Here is a link to an Amazon option, but you can find so many variations of this shirt or other products such as coffee mugs, cups, etc.

7. Daddy’s Grill Plate

Thanks, Pinterest, for this one! Audrey’s husband was gifted a similar plate (shown here) last year and it was a big hit! You can search Pinterest for Father’s Day Grill Plates and get a ton of variations and links to craft blogs with directions. But, this is how Audrey did it: She bought an oven safe platter such as this one. Then, ordered this paint and this black outliner paint on Amazon. She used the black outliner for the writing and the outline of the grill, and then the other paints for the handprints and color. These paints have instructions on them of how to bake them to make them permanent! Easy peasy and a great gift for any Daddy!

8. Comfy Sweats

Who doesn’t want some comfy sweats to lounge in? Anybody would be happy with this gift! Here are a couple great sweat pant options for the Daddy in your life: AmazonUnder Armor.
