A Beautiful Experience on Houston Life
You guys! What an amazing day! We were asked to appear on KPRC’s Houston Life and boy, did we have a ball! Our platform is all about supporting moms and making mom life easier. So naturally when they saw some mom hacks we shared on social media and wanted us to share more on the show, we were thrilled!
But if we’re being honest, this was totally and completely out of our comfort zone! We’re just two moms, you know, who the heck says we can get all dolled up and go on TV!? It was literally an honor to even be asked to go on and to have the experience today was such a cool moment for us. Also, the entire staff, our producer Heather, and host Courtney were all absolutely amazing, welcoming, and truly felt like friends. We just kept looking around like..is this real…are we here right now? For anyone who’s been on the show, this might be small potatoes to other things you do, but for us…we never in a million thought this platform would lead to all the opportunities we’ve been given, especially be offered a spot on a platform with such a great reputation and reach in Houston.
At the end of the day, we just want to reach more moms. We want all moms to have access to information, resources, support, community, and a tribe of uplifting women. Houston Life gave us a platform today to reach further, not only in Houston, but into ourselves! Really cool things happen when you do things that scare you, things you wouldn’t normally do. In those 7 minutes you see two moms sharing mom hacks that make mom’ing easier, but inside we were beaming because it was so dang fun to do something so new and different!
We get some many beautiful comments from moms about what our community does for them, means to them, and we want you all to know that you guys have given us all that and more right back! Starting this network up, working on it like we have for a year, continuing to build, not letting up on our passion and dreams for it, and stepping out of our comfort zone again and again…all of it has been such a beautiful journey and we truly do it all for you guys! This space has brightened and widened our hearts more than we could image and we’re just feeling extra grateful today.
To the entire crew of Houston Life, thank you for having us today! It was a blast and we’re still riding our high! We cannot wait to come back again!
To all of you who have reached out with encouragement and love today and everyday, we cannot thank you enough! You all are part of our mom tribe and we’re so lucky for that!
