Giving you a glimpse at the heart and hustle behind Succulent Bar, the incredible Jessica Siefert
We hosted a fun giveaway this week with Succulent Bar that you mamas were so excited about! It’s no surprise because it’s a company we adore, as well. So, we thought we’d give you a little introduction to the badass mama behind it all. Her name is Jessica and she might as well be known as queen of the cacti.
Succulent Bar and sister company Petal Bar are so much more than party favors. What mama owner Jessica Siefert has been able to accomplish with her brand and her business is a unique experience. It’s a chance to create and grow memories with the ones you love most, in a unique, unforgettable way.
From events like corporate workshops, weddings, and baby showers, to party favors, DIY kits, and gift boxes, there’s truly something for anyone and everyone.
Jess started Succulent Bar so she could spend time interacting with two things she loved, succulents and events. She grew up surrounded by plants, her mother owned a nursery called The Plant Menagerie. More than just the element of plants and nature, Jessica always felt drawn to the design and look of the succulent and cacti plants and sees them as an element of home decor.
Now that we’ve worked with Jess a few times and seen her in action in many different capacities, we see these little succulents in the same light! They’re unique, durable, and perfect for anyone who wants the beauty of a plant, but maybe lacking the gift of a green thumb to take care of it!
Jessica’s got an extensive background in events like wedding planning, corporate events and concert production and even studied Interior Design in college. She’s the real deal. And with two years of building this business under her belt, she knows how to make any occasion special.
By simply combining her passion for events and design with her passion for making people happy, Succulent Bar was born and it has blossomed! More like BOOMED if you look under the hood at all Jessica does and all she continues to accomplish. This woman doesn’t stop, nor does the desire for her services and products.
We featured Jessica on our blog in the early months of our platform and have gotten a front row to her success ever since. What we admire most about Jessica is her grit – her unrelenting, ‘I’m going to make it’ mentality is so inspiring. She’s one of the hardest working women we know and yet still manages to give her heart, attention, and support to others, specifically her sweet family. Ultimately, everything Jessica does is for who she calls her little “four pack”- her husband and their two kiddos who she says light up her whole world. And boy does she light up theirs, ours, and others in return!
When you see someone like Jessica who has a gift, a true gift, and a unique way to touch people’s lives through what they do, that’s one of the most inspiring things to watch. And it’s worth shouting them from the rooftops and supporting them on what we know is the hard journey of entrepreneurship.
What Jessica is continuing to build through her business is just so freaking cool and we’re honored to get to watch it happen!
