Our healthcare professionals, doctors, nurses, staff, have been on our minds since all of this started in mid March. Those healthcare professionals on the front lines each and every day are true heroes. We’ve been wanting to show our love and support for these amazing human beings and we’re starting with this. We’ve teamed up with our dear friend Joy who is a local Houston blogger. Both Joy’s parents work in the healthcare field and she’s got a lot of connections around the Houston medical community.
With your help, we are going to be able to feed 80 Emergency Room staff at Houston Methodist Hospital West. And mamas, if this is successful, we’ll be able to do it again and again and hopefully over more hospitals and doctors officers in Katy.
We’ll be supporting local restaurants with this initiative as well which gives us so much joy. These small businesses need us right now more than ever and we want to bring them on to feed our healthcare workers on the front lines.
Any money left over will be spent in purchasing masks to donate from some unbelievable local vendors around Houston.
The goal is collect donations throughout this week and send the meals early next week. So help us spread the word, mamas!
