Ivybrook Academy is an innovative early childhood school that provides half-day classes designed to embrace your child and unlock a world of purpose and possibilities. We offer a variety of sessions in order to accommodate the needs of every family! Our hybrid curriculum combines progressive approaches to early childhood education which draws from the customized learning approach of Montessori, the experiences in Reggio Emilia, and Multiple Intelligence research. These philosophies are blended into our comprehensive half-day preschool providing a solid foundation for our children’s early learning years.

What’s your favorite thing about what you do?
To be able to provide a well-rounded education for students to become successful young learners. To see children, grow while instilling confidence in them and being able to see them learn through their own interests.

The Katy community has been so welcoming and kind! We have met so many wonderful families and businesses in the area and hope to expand socially to welcome you all to our school.
Future plans for your school?
To continue to grow and provide not only an amazing education, but to also provide excellent customer service to everyone. We want to continue to be an extension of your home for your little ones.
Who inspires you most in business and education?
Our families and friends are our biggest inspiration as they help motivate us and understand the difficulty of finding a high-quality private preschool.
Favorite thing about being in early childhood development?
The rewarding feeling you get from being a part of the children’s lives and seeing them grow and develop. We love being able to see a child’s smile and hearing the laughter and questions that come from learning and exploring in a classroom.
How do you choose and hire your teachers?
We look to hire teachers who have a genuine love for teaching and making a difference in a child’s life. Teachers who have a positive and bubbly personality. We look for highly qualified teachers based on education and experience.
