100 Shades of Vibez is a paint and sip studio in Fulshear, TX that offers a variety of paint party experiences! They also have mobile capability to deliver a personalized guest experiences. In studio, they offer paint parties accompanied by great tasting foods and beverages.

We got to chat with mama owner Rayn Snow about her business, what inspires her, and hopes for the future!

Where are you from and how long have you lived in Katy?

I’m from Cincinnati Ohio, lived in Florida 4 years and moved to Katy Aug 2021 almost 2 years

Tell us a little bit about your business when you started, and how you came up with the concept?

100 Shades of Vibez came post COVID. My husband and I had a very successful travel enterprise and COVID hit us hard and we weren’t ready. During COVID we use to order pre sketched canvas I would drink and we would have a great time. I disliked art in high school because I can’t draw and i always had to be great and prefect. Well this fun activity as a non artist turned into a business. When we would travel I would do mobile paint parts at restaurants and such. When we moved to Texas everyone does mobile paint parties so I told my husband I wanted a studio and 6 months into our brick and mortar I super proud I pulled the plug!

What’s unique about your business?

What’s unique about 100 Shades of Vibez is that we focus solely on the social aspects of sip and paint experiences. We provide all canvas pre sketched artwork. It’s like painting with numbers without the numbers. We allow you to pick your own paint colors and also everyone doesn’t have to paint the same painting. We generally have 3-5 different canvas to choose from. We offer free complimentary adult beverages from our bar. Juice for the kiddos! With music, drinks, laughs and splatter we promote relaxed fun experience. We are not just a sip and paint shop we are also and event studio. Clean upscale modern blank canvas for you to design in anyway your creativity takes you!

Do you offer birthday parties for kids and adults?

We offer kid paint parties and adult paint parties! All children parties come with free complimentary adult beverages for the parents while we host a stress free party!

Have you always been an entrepreneur at heart?

I have always been in entrepreneur at heart published my first children’s book in 1st grade Made my first business cards at age 8. I have been on my own since 12 so I always had a side hustle.

What did you do before becoming a business owner?

Before opening my studio here oh gosh were so I start. The only jobs I had were serving. I have a college degree in criminal justice never used it. Pre covid I had a rental company business. We rented out homes, cars and RVs. My family and I traveled full time drag racing as I am a drag racer Mopar girl to be exact! I sold all my race cars for the studio so here I am!

We’re giant advocates for supporting local! Tell us how the Katy community has gotten you where you are now.

I’m going to be honest opening a brick and mortar has by far been my biggest business challenge. One thing about me is when my back is against the wall I push harder. BUT without the community of katy/fulshear ,the women and the relationship I have built I can’t say that I would still be able to do what I’m doing. This community keeps me uplifted and motivated. I have known most of my support system less than 6 months and they show up for me always. From the hugs, shoulders to cry on, phone calls for listening ears all that. This community is the reason I’m still pushing through the hard days. I couldn’t do it with out my support system. I look forward to raising my children year and being apart of this community and this becoming home!

Future plans and dreams for your business?

I’m 25 and typically I plan my life 5 years in advance but with the studio I have learned how to be in the moment. My life has always been so fast paced go go go accomplishing goal after goal but this journey has taught me patience. My dreams currently with 100 Shades of Vibez is to grow this studio and just build long lasting relationships within the community.

Who inspires you most in business?

My children inspire me most my daughter changed my life for the good 16 and pregnant I knew I wanted my daughter to have a completely different upbringing then me. I wanted to break generational curses and give my children the life I dreamed of living. My children day in and day out keep me in my grind.
