We are so excited to feature this local Katy mama who will also be popping up at our Katy Moms Night Out this Thursday! Natasha, Owner & Creator behind Oh Snap Station is truly one of the best of the best in Katy!
Her love of picture taking and party decorating came together to create her business in October 2022 and she’s been all around the Houston area since, helping people celebrate in style and create & keep memories for a lifetime!
With a variety of backdrops to choose from and ability to customize to any celebration, we cannot wait to have Natasha at The Bowery House for our event this week. She’s so passionate about what she does and we’re so thrilled to give her the spotlight today to talk about mom life, her business, and advice for aspiring entrepreneurs!

Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in the Katy area?
Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. Been here in Fulshear since 2019. We love it here!
How many kids do you have and how old are they?
Giovanni – will be 22 in June – so proud of this kiddo, he just bought his 2nd property and owns a successful remodeling business in Wisconsin.
Gabriel – will be 9 in June – he is an amazing athlete, and I can’t wait to see him play in the big leagues someday!
Milana is 5 and starting Kinder in August – yay! She is our performer. Dancing is her passion!
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
Life has thrown me lemons, but I’ve always made the best lemonade! I became a mom at 17 years old, my junior year of high school. I graduated high school with my 1-year-old in the audience clapping for me. I raised my son as a single mom while working full-time and getting two college degrees – which I’m very proud of. I love to encourage young mamas and let them know they can accomplish anything they put their minds to! I volunteered with Young Lives Katy and got to meet so many great young mamas that reminded me of me. I thank God for all the trials and tribulations that have become part of my testimony. I get to share and encourage others because of them.
One fun fact is that earned the title of Glamma last year! She will call me Nani. My beautiful granddaughter will be 1 in June and I can’t wait to celebrate with her in Wisconsin.
Favorite local things to do in the Katy area?
There are so many fun things to do in the Katy area! Our weekends are mostly busy with events for the photobooth business and kids activities! We are a family of foodies, so we love trying out different restaurants in the area. Our favorites are Anthonie’s, Pearl and Vine, and good ol’ Captain Toms for their catfish and oysters!
What is your go-to activity for yourself for pampering or for fun?
When I find the time I love a good massage, mani & pedi.
Give us your best mom hack that makes life easier.
You don’t have to win every battle. Sometimes you just have to let your children express themselves and learn on their own (as long as it’s safe of course!). I’ve let go little by little with each child. I’m sure many other moms have done the same!
OK, let’s talk business. Tell us about OhSnap Station! Co. and what makes your business unique?
Ahhh so much to say. It’s a fun business. I get to set up a fun spot for people to smile, laugh and capture memories. I try to provide top notch experiences and customize each event according to the client’s vision.
When did you officially launch your business and what’s been the biggest blessing in it all?
Officially launched October 15, 2022. The biggest blessing is this community. We have been so busy because of friends and referrals. It’s been amazing.
What’s your back story- what did you do before launching your business?
I currently work full-time as a real estate paralegal and transaction coordinator. We specialize in commercial real estate investments. I’ve been with my firm for almost 11 years and in the real estate world since I was 19… So I balance a few different jobs throughout my day…wife, mama, real estate professional and business owner.
Do you think it prepared you for being an entrepreneur?
Absolutely, I’ve learned a lot about life balance, investments, client services, etc. then you sprinkle in my extroverted personality and love for parties and planning. Boom – I launched a business where I can work with clients, have fun, make money and love my investment!
Favorite events you’ve worked?
They are all so fun. I would say the most memorable was our first night. We were double booked. We set up one station at a friend’s house for their son’s 16th Birthday. They requested prints and a neon sign as package add-ons. Then we set up for a Dia De Los Muertos party. The client requested our luxury hedge wall, a custom sign and custom floral arrangements added to the hedge wall. God gave us a challenge and went for it! From 6pm – 1am we ran all over our neighborhood, back and forth checking in! It was an insane first night, but after that I knew what we could handle – and we were up for all future challenges!
Best advice for mamas wanting to launch into their own business?
Just do it. Don’t let fear overtake what could be life changing for you! Do your research but don’t get consumed with needing to know it ALL right away. Jump into it and learn as you go. Surround yourself with supportive like-minded individuals. I’ve met so many great people in the events industry, as well as other fellow boothers. I can’t thank them enough for everything they have taught me.
Future plans and hopes for your business?
Yes! Adding another Snap Station, this one will be more of a luxury style booth, as well as a 360. We have gotten so many requests for that so I’m excited to launch that. I plan on adding more luxury backdrops like flower walls, more shimmer walls and sign options. Stay tuned!
