Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in the Katy area?
I have lived in Houston all my life. I grew up in Southwest Houston “Meyerland/Westbuy” and have lived in Katy since 2002.
You’re a mama! How old are your kids and what’s your favorite thing about being their mom?
My kids are 17, 17 (twins!), and 20 (21 in December). My favorite thing about being their mom is watching them grow into their own unique personalities and passions—it’s like seeing little glimpses of their future unfold. Plus, nothing beats the laughs and love they bring into my life every day! ❤️
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
One thing people might be surprised to know about me is that I’m a big believer in holistic wellness, and it’s actually what inspired me to start The DRIPBaR. Traditional medicine left me searching for better answers, and that journey changed my life! 🌿💧
Favorite local things to do in the Katy area?
With my kids now grown, we enjoy exploring Katy’s vibrant dining scene, especially venues with great patios and live music. Pearl & Vine offers a delightful outdoor atmosphere, while The Oaks Kitchen & Bar provides live music that adds to the experience. The expansion of such spots has truly enhanced our local outings.
Favorite local restaurants?
Local Table, Pearl & Vine, The Union Kitchen, Ambriza, Federal Grill and lots more.
Give us your best mom hack that makes your life easier.
My best mom hack is creating a weekly meal plan on Sundays and sticking it on the fridge. It saves time, reduces stress, and makes grocery shopping a breeze. Plus, I include the kids in choosing meals, so everyone’s happy!
OK, let’s talk business! Tell us about Drip BaR and how you got your start?
The DRIPBaR is all about proactive wellness through IV vitamin therapy. We help people feel their best by fueling their bodies with essential nutrients. My journey started after traditional medicine left me searching for better solutions for my own health. I discovered the power of vitamins and holistic care, which inspired me to open The DRIPBaR in 2021. Now, I’m passionate about helping others take charge of their health and wellness!

When did you launch this business and what’s been the biggest blessing in it all?
I launched The DRIPBaR in 2021, and the biggest blessing has been the opportunity to make a real impact on people’s lives. Seeing clients feel better, prioritize their health, and trust us with their wellness journey is incredibly rewarding. It’s also been amazing to connect with the community and build lasting relationships along the way.
When did you first know you had a passion for vitamin drips and wanting to bring this experience to Katy?
I discovered my passion for vitamin drips during my own wellness journey when traditional medicine wasn’t meeting my needs. Learning how IV therapy could transform my health and energy was a game-changer. I knew I wanted to bring this experience to Katy because I saw a need for proactive, holistic wellness options in our community. Sharing these benefits with others has been such a fulfilling mission!
What makes your business unique?
The DRIPBaR is unique because we combine proactive health with the expertise of a medical-grade approach. All our IV drips are administered by licensed nurses and overseen by a medical director to ensure the highest level of safety and care. We focus on customized wellness solutions, empowering clients to take charge of their health with options tailored to their specific needs. With a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and a variety of drips for energy, immunity, and overall vitality, we provide a one-of-a-kind experience that blends science and care.
What made you want to dive into entrepreneurship?
I wanted to dive into entrepreneurship because I’ve always had a desire to make a real impact while creating something of my own. After experiencing firsthand how traditional approaches to health fell short, I knew I wanted to offer solutions that truly help people. Entrepreneurship gave me the freedom to combine my passion for holistic wellness with my drive to serve my community. It’s been challenging, but so rewarding to build something that changes lives!
What’s your back story- what did you do before launching into this business?
Before launching The DRIPBaR, I spent 14 years in Accounting/Finance and another 14 years in Technology Sales. These roles taught me discipline, problem-solving, and how to build strong client relationships. While I wasn’t in healthcare, my personal wellness journey inspired me to pivot and create a business that brings proactive health solutions to others. It’s been an exciting transition that combines my professional skills with my passion for helping people.
Do you think it prepared you for being a business owner?
I thought it did. However, I was not prepared for running a small business. I feel like I am learning something new everyday.
Best advice for mamas wanting to launch into entrepreneurship?
My best advice is to start with your “why”—know your passion and the problem you want to solve. From there, focus on building a solid plan, and don’t be afraid to lean on your support system. Balance is key, so don’t try to do everything alone—delegate and prioritize what matters most. Finally, trust yourself, embrace the learning curve, and know that every step forward is progress. You’ve got this, mama!
